EXCLUSIVE: Only 25 minutes of Katrina Kaif in ‘Zero’, but it will be worth it!

The biggest December release, ‘Zero’ will hit screens in about two weeks from now. This Aanand L Rai directorial has Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif playing the lead role. But there has been immense speculation about the roles that each of these actors are playing in this film.

Katrina Kaif was approached for the role three years ago, from the time Aanand wanted to make the film, along with superstar Salman Khan. Then, Salman opted out and Shah Rukh came in his place. The script has gone through several changes and finally what was left was Katrina’s character Babita Kumari who’s an alcoholic superstar dealing with an emotional break-up. Only that part of her character has remained the same, rest everything was changed.

Our source further reveals, “Katrina has a brilliant role in the film. She will be the one who will surprise and stun everybody in the audience. But the catch is that her role is very limited. she barely has 20-25 minutes of the role in the entire film which otherwise belongs to SRK and Anushka’s characters.”

But two people who have watched the first draft of the film have told us and reassured that Katrina is indeed the surprise package in the ensemble. Well now our excitement to watch this film has reached a new level and we just can’t wait to watch ‘Zero’ on the silver screen.

The film is scheduled to hit the marquee on December 21, 2018.
