EXCLUSIVE: Karan Johar trying hard to save Sidharth Malhotra’s sinking career?

Karan Johar was the one who introduced Sidharth Malhotra to films through ‘Student Of The Year‘ along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. While Alia and Varun’s career seems to be flourishing, Sid is finding it difficult to sustain the showbiz. However, Sid’s godfather Karan Johar has decided to take a keen interest in Sid’s career to revive his fading profession.

Sid’s career started sinking after he gave back to back flops including ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘A Gentleman’ and ‘Aiyaary’. If the sources are to be believed, Karan Johar will be coming to the sets of Vikram Batra biopic where Siddarth is playing the lead. He will be guiding him throughout to ensure nothing goes wrong.

Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing the role of Kargil martyr Vikram Batra in the latter’s biopic. Captain Batra sacrificed his life during the Kargil War (1999). Karan has been a fatherly figure to all these kids, be it Alia, Varun or Siddarth. He has not just launched them but also gives them advice and guidance every now and then.

Now, this is what we call a true mentor, isn’t it?

Apart from this project, Sidharth Malhotra has ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ along with Parineeti Chopra. This duo will be reuniting for the film after their hit film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ which released in 2014.
