Exclusive: Ranbir Kapoor backs out of Luv Ranjan’s film with Ajay Devgn?

Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are supposed to team up for a project together. Luv Ranjan’s next directorial has been announced with both RK and AD as the male leads.

Even though there’s been no official call on the film’s leading lady yet, the film is said to be based on a unique relationship where Ajay will play Ranbir’s father. Speaking of the film, a source tell us, “But it’s extremely different from another father-son films. They both will have just one heroine, so the take on the relationship will be quirky.”

But hold your horses!

Bollywood Bubble exclusively hears that the film might happen, but there’s a big roadblock. “Ranbir has been offered another big film from a huge banner and he has loved the idea. The dates are again clashing with Luv’s film. RK also has been a little confused about this film ever since the announcement. He has been looking out for a way to get out of it.”

Like ‘Kick 2’, the announcement is there but currently, no work is in progress. “If all goes by what it is now, Ranbir won’t do the film anymore. The team is trying to still convince him but he and his managers are currently not ready to budge much.”

He has not left the film yet, but is considering in doing the same.

We wonder who will be roped in if at all RK decides to back out.
