Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi were the top contenders in the 90’s and there were various reports floating in the media about their tiff. However, on the contrary, they both have always appreciated each other’s work.
Unfortunately, this year Sridevi passed away and Madhuri has wished her daughter, Jahnvi, all the luck.
Madhuri said, “I and Sridevi used to be busy working; we had so many shifts but we had great respect for each other.”

“I loved the work she has done. She has left her legacy behind not only through her movies but also her children… Janhvi is also into films and I am sure she will get a lot of love from all the people,” she added.
Janhvi has already gathered the love and wishes of her fans through her debut film ‘Dhadak’. ‘Dhadak’ which had opened really well on Friday is still going strong at the box office. The film ended the first weekend with the collection of approx Rs 33 crores.
Talking about Madhuri Dixit’s professional front, the actress will be seen in ‘Kalank’ along with Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan. This role of Madhuri was first offered to Sridevi but her sudden demise made Madhuri bag this role in the film.
