Aamir Khan plays peacemaker between Mammoothy and Mohanlal

Aamir Khan has roped in South star Mohanlal for the promotions of his show, ‘Satyamev Jayate’.  He is also trying to bring together one  time rivals Mammootty and Mohanlal together too. The rivalry of the two south superstar  is legendary much like that of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Though the two stars may have not expressed their rivalry openly, but it is known that they don’t get along.

As per sources, a dinner party was held at Mohanlal’s residence in Kochi, where the who’s who of Malayalam film industry was present. Aamir, who was also present at the do, invited Mammootty for the same. “Aamir made them meet and both Mohanlal and Mammootty greeted each other warmly. It seems that they then sat together and discussed movies and other issues for nearly three hours. This has never happened in the past. They have been seen at several award functions but they never really talked to each other.”

Sources further added, “When they meet each other, there is always an undercurrent of rivalry. This has been the case for more than two decades now; it is like the rivalry between Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar in their heyday.”

Aamir Khan had even tried to bring Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan together.
