‘Aashiqui 2’ singer Ankit Tiwari applies for bail

‘Aashiqui 2’  singer Ankit Tiwari who shot to fame after Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu. Well he  has been languishing in jail  since his girlfriend framed charges of Rape and Torture against him and his brother Ankur. Now Ankit has applied fora bail against the charges applied. He states the charges applied against him are not true.

As per sources, Ankit said , The woman who is believed to be his girlfriend,  is already a married woman with a child.  Ankit Tiwari was booked under section 376 (punishment for rape), 493 (cohabitation caused by a man deceitfully inducing a belief of lawful marriage), and section 506 (2) (punishment for criminal intimidation) of Indian Penal Code.
