Amitabh Bachchan Helped Restore Charlie Chaplin Film – Ramesh Sippy

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has helped to restore ‘Floor Walker’ a film by Hollywood’s noteworthy actor producer director- Charlie Chaplin, that will be showcased at the 15th edition of Mumbai Film Festival starting Oct 17. This festival is being organised by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI)and is being presented by Reliance Entertainment.

MAMI trustee Ramesh Sippy revealed this at a press conference, “We have a special section of restored films shown in the festival and one of the films is restored by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Mr. Bachchan funded the restoration work and this shows his love for cinema. If he has taken the trouble to restore the film, then it must be a classic and a masterpiece.”

The Films are to be showcased at theaters like Liberty, Metro Big Cinemas, Marine Lines and Cinemax Versova
