Anurag Kashyap on Pathaan, judgement faced by daughter Aaliyah, effects of his heart attack, Alaya F

Anurag Kashyap is all set to get back to the screens with his next directorial Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, starring Alaya F and newcomer Karan Mehta. Before the film’s release, the director got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, where he opened up on the new age romance and how parents play the ‘invisible villains’ in it. He also revealed his daughter Aliyah Kashyap’s contribution to the film including her YouTube being the inspiration for the story and her introducing Karan Mehta to Anurag. The director shared the interesting story of how Alaya also came on board the film. Before completing the shoot of this film, Anurag had suffered a heart attack and he discussed the effect it had on him and why he backed out of Twitter. He explained the reason behind Hindi films not working as well as the South films, why the success of Pathaan is important and not receiving support from the Hindi film industry during his tough times.
