‘Ekk Albela’: Apart from Vidya Balan there is nothing good in ‘Shola Jo Bhadke’

While there are so many biopics releasing this year in Bollywood, we will also get to see a biopic in Marathi cinema. Based on the life of veteran actor-director Bhagwan Dada, Marathi film, ‘Ekk Albela’, will be releasing on June 24.

The movie stars Vidya Balan who would portray the character of Geeta Bali. The actress’ role has been credited as a guest appearance in the film. The makers of the movie have launched the new version of the song ‘Shola Jo Bhadke’. The track is the exact recreation of 1951 release ‘Albela’, but unfortunately fails miserably.

Mangesh Desai, who plays the role of Bhagwan Dada in the film, is very bad in the song. However, Vidya as Geeta Bali is impressive. Unfortunately, Vidya and Mangesh also fail to recreate the chemistry of Dada and Bali.
