Babil Khan on father Irrfan Khan’s demise, pressure, social media pretence: I feel claustrophobic

Babil Khan is now 2 films old in the Hindi film industry, and recently he delivered an impressive act in Friday Night Plan. Post the film’s success, the young star got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar where he bared his soul about the relatability between the film and his real life. Babil opened up on how just like his character in the film, he took pressure upon himself after father Irrfan Khan passed away. He also discussed the pressure of social media on an actor in today’s time, how he feels claustrophobic because of that and losing the freedom to live his life. He recalled the advice Shoojit Sircar gave him that he was unable to implement. Babil also revealed details of his beautiful and fun relationship with his mother Sutapa Sikdar and younger brother Ayan. He spoke about the challenges she had to face in raising him and his brother.
