‘Comedy Circus’ makers miffed with Sohail Khan?

Actor, Producer Sohail Khan has irked the producers of Comedy Circus, by participating in rival Kapil Sharma’s show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, that they have now decided not to renew  Arbaaz’s contract with the show and are planning to replace Arbaaz with Shekhar Suman.

Sohail Khan has a long association with ‘Comedy Circus’. Not only did he host the previous season of the show, but also got his brother Arbaaz to be the judge on the current show. Now  since the Salman-starrer Jai Ho is about to release, the producers were keen to have the cast of the film make an appearance on their show. However, Sohail, who has directed ‘Jai Ho’, decided to promote the film on Kapil Sharma’s show, thus rubbing the producers the wrong way.

Arbaaz Khan n the other hand has negated all these rumours and saidz. “It is true that my contract with the show is now nearing its end – I have already done two and a half seasons spanning over 65 episodes. I now need to focus on my film and that’s why I am no longer a part of the next season.” he said. Nikul Desai, director of Comedy Circus, confirmed Arbaaz’s version of events.
