‘Dangal’: The new track ‘Dhaakad’ sends a message of never underestimating girl power

Actor Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated Christmas release ‘Dangal’ is out now with its second song titled ‘Dhaakad’. The song showcases the journey of young Geeta and Babita Phogat played by Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in the akhara ring coached by their father Mahavir Phogat, played by Aamir. We should never underestimate girl power is the prime thing put forward in ‘Dhaakad’ beautifully. Visually, ‘Dhaakad’ has been shot very well and the music, lyrics and vocals by singer Raftaar are perfectly in sync with the visuals. Enjoy the song above.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ also stars TV actress Sakshi Tanwar with debutants Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra playing pivotal parts.

It is slated to hit the silver screens on December 23, 2016.
