Deepika Padukone to turn assistant director?

Actress Deepika Padukone who is the queen of Bollywood at present is thinking of turning into an assistant director to Zoya Akhtar for her next. Well the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, all worked as ADs on other star’s films, before they turned actors themselves. But Deepu seems to be trying it after getting critical acclaim for her acting prowess.

As per sources, Deepika is so impressed  with the script of Zoya Akhtar’s next that she says she wants to come on board in any capacity.

Deepika admitted to being floored by the storyline, “I love the script so much that I am ready to work in any capacity on the film, including an assistant director (AD). But I don’t know if I can manage that (working as an AD).” Deepika also confessed that as yet she has not conveyed her wish to Zoya.
