Esha Deol on Hema Malini & Dharmendra’s influence, nepotism, motherhood, bond with Sunny & Bobby

Esha Deol hates the word comeback, but every time she’s chosen to be on screen, especially in the last few years, it has been for something special. Whether it’s her short films or her recently released web series Hunter, she has been praised for her performances. In this candid chat with Nayandeep Rakshit of Bollywood Bubble, Esha opens up about life at large – From being born to two superstars Dharmendra saab and Hema Malini ji to their influence on her life, from nepotism to the things she’s battled in the early stages of her career. She also discusses how weirdly she would be given labels like a wild child and how she wore it with all honesty. Esha explains her stance on the whole nepotism debate and also shares an interesting story about how she took her mom’s permission before wearing a bikini in Dhoom’- a scene that eventually turned every bit iconic.
