Esha Gupta feels her family would not be able to tolerate ‘Humshakals’

Bollywood actress Esha Gupta was recently seen in ‘Humshakals’. Her role was that of a doctor and she was a mere eye candy in the film.

Esha said that she had told her family and her father in particular, before hand to avoid watching ‘Humshakals’ as she felt they would not be able to tolerate the film.

“My family, particularly my father had been categorically told not to watch Humshakals because I knew they would not be able to bear the film,” said Esha.

She further added,”Sajid Khan told me upfront that I was an eye-candy in the film. I knew Humshakals would not win me any best actress award.”

Inspite of just being an eye candy in the film, Esha has no regrets as she got a chance to work with Bollywood A-lister celebs like Saif Ali Khan.

Although, Humshakal’s did well at the Box Office but failed to get audience appreciation.

“Sometimes things go terribly wrong. It’s not enough if your film makes money, we want the audience’s appreciation too. In retrospect, I feel we could have done a better job with Humshakals,” said Esha Gupta.
