From a wrestler to a singer, Zaira’s onscreen journey has bowled us over

The lead actress of Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Secret Superstar’ Zaira Wasim had made her debut with the very successful movie ‘Dangal’. In it, she portrayed the role of young Geeta Phogat, the wrestling champion who bagged the gold at Olympics. She won a National Award for the movie and her fabulous performance earned her a lead role in the second movie ‘Secret Superstar’ which is a production of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

After looking at the fabulous trailer and songs of the movie, Zaira’s character of an aspiring singer is connecting very well with the masses. However, it hasn’t been an easy journey for the actress to transform herself from a wrestler to a singer. So, the makers have released a video which shows how she transformed herself from a wrestler to an aspiring singer for the forthcoming flick ‘Secret Superstar’.
