From Choreography to Direction: Ahmed Khan on Welcome to the Jungle, Akshay, Baaghi 3, Mr. India

In this episode of The Starcast, producer, director, choreographer, and writer Ahmed Khan opens up about his personal and professional life. Ahmed Khan begins by discussing his childhood and how his parents’ separation affected him financially. He shares how, previously living a luxurious life, he suddenly found himself in poverty. Slowly, he worked hard and his passion for dance was appreciated. Ahmed talks about how he made his way to the Mr. India set. He also recalls his first meeting with Anil Kapoor and discusses his fees.

Ahmed reveals how Ram Gopal Varma and Saroj Khan changed his life. In the interview, Ahmed speaks about how Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, and Sunil Shetty have always helped him. He also shares an anecdote about choreographing for Shah Rukh Khan. Ahmed mentions that he wanted to try something new, which is why he worked as a director in addition to choreography. He talks about the Baaghi film series starring Tiger Shroff and how hard they worked on it.
