Anurag Kashyap goes shopping for Ranbir Kapoor & Anushka Sharma

Anurag Kashyap has gone on a week long trip to fashion capital of the world Paris. No the director was not on a vacation but was shopping for none other than Ranbir Kapoor the hero of his movie ‘Bombay Velvet’. As for the next schedule of the movie Ranbir has to don a retro look. Therefore Anuraag dashed to Paris.

According to sources, “The film is set in Mumbai of the 50s and 60s. A huge set has been created in Sri Lanka. And for the costumes, Anurag decided to go to the French capital and meet the fashion designers there to get an idea on vintage clothing and pick up some period costumes for his street fighter hero. He also got a few patterns for his heroine Anushka Sharma who plays a jazz singer.”

Anurag Kashyap consulted with Ranbir Kapoor for the final look and shared pictures of whatever he has picked up from Paris.
