Imran Khan takes a stand on homophobia

Bollywood’s chocolate boy Imran Khan is constantly raising his voice against many social issues first he filed a PIL to reduce the legal drinking age from 25 to 21. Now he is lending his support to another crusade making a protest against the section 377 that deems gay relationships illegal.This he is doing with the popular city based comedy collective All India Bakch**d(AIB). They have shot a video to make a point against it.

As per sources, Immi said, I’ve always been involved with gay rights. The scenario in this country is disheartening and depressing. These are basic human rights that people are being denied of; they’re no minority,” says Imran, adding that “the idea of this initiative is to show those who do not support homosexuality how ridiculous their thinking is”. We wanted to talk about section 377, Indians, our attitude towards homosexuality, and how naive and stupid we are about it.”

AIB and Imran, together, now plan to make a series of these satirical videos, the first of which was made available to view on YouTube.
