Ishaan Khatter entered showbiz as Shahid Kapoor’s brother but the youngster made a mark of his own. He is now set to appear in the war drama Pippa alongside Mrunal Thakur. The director of the film Raja Krishna Menon and the two actors got in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar where they spoke about dealing with the delay in the film’s release. They discussed the anxiety it brought while Mrunal opened up on having no control over the release plans of Pippa and Aankh Micholi. Ishaan addressed the conversation around him being ‘too young’ to play a military man and the parallel that happened with Alia Bhatt in her National Award-winning performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. He also discussed juggling work in Bollywood as well as internationally, doing The Perfect Couple with Nicole Kidman and his experience of working with Tabu. Mrunal spoke about South giving her chance to explore herself as an actor and if she feels Bollywood is lacking there.
