‘Kaavaan Kaavaan’ from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Lucknow Central’ is out

First song from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Lucknow Central’ titled ‘Kaavan Kaavan’ has been released. It is the reprised version of ‘Kaavan Kaavan’ song originally sung by Sukhwinder Singh for the film ‘Monsoon Wedding’. The new version has been sung by Divya Kumar and music is given by Arjunna Harjaie. The visuals of this song from ‘Lucknow Central’ has the band of prisoners led by Farhan Akhtar performing on this song. In between we see the glimpses of Farhan Akhtar and others plotting and developing strategy to elope from the prison. The music and lyrics are as powerful as the original one, but it would have been more impactful if Farhan had added some energy to the song and kept with the pace of the song.

Apart from Farhan, we do see Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal and others playing a pivotal role. Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, ‘Lucknow Central’ is slated to release on September 15. (Also Read: This Twitter conversation between ‘Lucknow Central’ characters is hilarious)
