Karan Johar : I like making honest love story

Actor, Director Karan Johar was in a confessing mood ta the trailer launch of his movie ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.He said.”I actually find it very difficult to write love stories anymore. I think I have lost that innocence which I had when I wrote KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI or KAL HO NAA HO. I feel the love scenes that I write are synthetic and very artificial.”

According to source, Karan likes to make organic and honest love stories”These days, whenever I read something truly organic and honest in nature love stories, it always moves me to make it. When I read Vinil Mathew’s script, I was completely bowled over by the quirkiness and the moving quality that the screenplay had. It was quirky, sort of off-the-cuff yet it moved me towards the end.’

Hasee toh Phasee is a collaboration of Dharma Productios and Phantom Films. Karan who is quite pleased with this collboration said, ”It’s a heady combo. Phantom Films’ quirkiness and Dharma’s emotions make a grand collaboration and no better script could justify this combination of producers better than HASEE TOH PHASEE…”

The movie will release in February.
