Recently, when Shahid Kapoor was interacting with the media, he was asked if it’s true that two actors can’t work together in a film, to which the ‘Udta Punjab’ star said, “Who said that two actors can’t work together? Your question is to the wrong actor. I am the one who did it. Everyone in ‘Padmaavat’ did it. Go ask this question to the ones who are not doing it.”

Further talking about being insecure with the other actor in the film, Shahid said, “Then I wouldn’t have done it. If your insecurities are driving you, they are taking you away from the opportunities that God gives you. Every opportunity brings something new to an actor. You have to take the right opportunity and the right result will be defined over a period of time.”
Talking about the ‘Padmaavat’ controversy, Shahid said, “I think it was the most extreme version of controversy that one could have witnessed. ‘Padmaavat’ has become like a benchmark.(laughs) We all will take some time to get out of it. It is worrisome and troublesome that before seeing something it is judged.”
Well, looks like Shahid has silenced all the rumors doing rounds that things were not on good terms with his onscreen rival and co-star Ranveer Singh. In fact, Shahid is open to working with other actors provided if he comes across good scripts.
