“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” trailer turns out to be disappointing

Salnman Khan-Sonam Kapoor starring “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is the talk of the town right now. While we were eagerly awaiting to check out the official trailer too, the cliche execution of the trailer has disappointed us.

Far away from the freshness we were looking for, the film is another package of age old romance and family drama; the difference being, this time the drama is royal. Though Salman Khan refers to it as one of the best films he has done and Sonam Kapoor, overjoyed, calls it a “dream” to work with Salman, the trailer quite clearly tells us that it’s nothing beyond a typical Suraj Barjatya film.

Salman Khan is hardly visible in the trailer and Sonam Kapoor with her heavy lehengas and stiff movements doesn’t impress us at all. All that are extravagant about it are the lavish sets, where Barjatya can throw a touch challenge to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is a sheer disappointment, specially for those who’ve followed films like “Maine Pyar Kiya” or “Hum Aap Ke Hai Kaun”.
