R Madhavan reveals why he considers himself ‘god’s own child’ in the film industry

Beginning from the small screen to films and now web, Madhavan’s journey has been a spectacular one. When we asked him about, he said he is grateful about how the journey turned out to be.

“When I was doing television, I didn’t take my career seriously. I wasn’t trained to be an actor. I was just on a honeymoon. I was just working and people were paying me money for romancing all these beautiful girls and doing actions I had no idea about. I didn’t know how to act, what is a dialogue delivery or what is a screenplay. I’ve learnt it all while doing my job. Now if you ask me why I think I am very privileged or god’s own child as far as this industry is concerned, even though I made mistakes during my career, I wasn’t punished for it. A lot of people’s careers got over because they made mistakes. I am very grateful for that,” he said.

After all, life lessons are the only lasting lessons. Right?
