After an intriguing poster and teaser, the makers of ‘Newton’ shared the official trailer of the movie. It deals with a novel subject of voting and polling booths in an election. Rajkummar Rao toplines the cast as Newton.
The trailer starts off with Newton meeting a young girl and asking her hobbies. She reveals that she loves watching movies and her favourite one is ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’. On knowing her age, he immediately stands up and states that she is under-age. This proves that Newton has strong principles. Next, we are introduced to his training class where the character of Sanjay Mishra makes them understand that they will cancel the polling booth elections and call for new elections. The trailer further introduces us to what happens when elections are nearing and how problems appear when it comes to voting in a polling booth.
We see how Rajkummar Rao’s character tries to fight against the wrongdoings with the elections and tries to pave a clear and honest path to cast the vote for a candidate. Since his name is similar to mathematician, physicist Isaac Newton, he recalls that as a student he never understood the theories of Newton, but now he realises that until you don’t change anything, nothing will change.
