Ranbir Kapoor – Proud that Prithvi theater is today a landmark

The first Family of cinema Kapoor’s are also the ones who had initiated Theater. Ranbir Kapoor the youngest of the Kapoor has many a childhood memory associated with Prithvi Theaters named after his great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor and managed by grandfather Shashi Kapoor and his children Kunal and Sanjana Kapoor.

As per sources, Ranbir Kapoor said,  “As kids, we used to come here to have Irish coffee as that was the only alcohol we could have at that age. And, of course, the brownies. Theater used to bore us But now that we have grown up and travelled across the world and got exposed to Broadway and seeing plays at Prithvi, I have started enjoying it and understanding it and it makes us feel proud that Prithvi is today a landmark in this country and is named after my great grandfather.”

Prior to debuting as an actor in ‘Sawariya’,  Ranbir Kapoor had been practicing to debut on stage at Prithvi. But fate had other things in store for him, but lets see if in near future he might be seen on stage.
