Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani’ is based on human trafficking

Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji‘s upcoming film ‘Mardaani’ is based on human trafficking. Apparently, the makers of the movie have taken inspiration from high-profile human trafficking stories. The actress who has recently tied the knot with filmmaker boyfriend Aditya Chopra in a hush hush ceremony out of the country, was back in studio. She will be depicting the role of a cop in the YRF movie. Aditya Chopra is leaving no stone upturned to make this a smashing comeback for his wife Rani Mukherjee.

According to sources, “The central subject of the film is based on human trafficking. Writers have drawn inspiration from reality however no one knows which cases.” This would be Rani’s first release post her marriage to director-producer Aditya Chopra.
