Salim Khan & Javed Akhtar unite once again after 26 years

The two iconic scriptwriter pair Salim & Javed, who payed the major role of mentoring the tall lanky Amitabh Bachchan – The superstar of the masses and gave him the tag of angry young man.  Salim and Javed have at last after 26 long years buried their differences. They also might reunite professionally once again.

Salim and Javed have scripted some of the best Bollywood movies – Sholay, Don, Deewar, Trishul and their last one was Mr. India, after which they had parted ways. Salim said, “We worked together for 15 years and despite our different personalities, complimented each other professionally. I don’t rule out the prospect of us coming together again.” Echoing his view, Javed added, “We have resolved our differences. There is no animosity between us now and we are open to working together.”

It was the controversy over the Zanjeer remake that paved the way for the reconciliation between the warring partners. Well it seems to be good news for now once again good movies with a strong script will be made under their eagle eyes.
