‘Sarbjit’: Teary eyed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan prays for Randeep Hooda in song ‘Meherbaan’

The makers of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda starrer ‘Sarbjit‘ have certainly nailed it with perfection, since in every song they are coming up with  heart-melting visuals and melody that are bound to touch you. As the date of the release is nearing, another soulful track from ‘Sarbjit’ titled ‘Meherbaan’ is out.

Like the previous tracks, the composition of Shail-Pritesh completely transports you in that period and makes you feel that we are also a part of the agony, we are among those who are living the pain. ‘Meherbaan’ somewhere connects with you divinely and the credit for this feeling goes to the beautiful lyrics penned by A M Turaz. Sukhwinder Singh, Shail Hada and Munnawar Masoom’s vocals are completely in sync with those effective visuals seen in this track.

Visually, the song shows Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Darshan Kumar (who plays the part of the lawyer handling Sarbjit’s case) praying in mosque for his release from the prison. As the track moves ahead it also presents the narrative in its own way which indeed is the prime highlight of this track.  Visuals suggest that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda are undoubtedly giving their best performance. Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar also provide a tight support to them with their intensity.

‘Sarbjit’ directed by Omung Kumar, is slated for a release on May 20, 2016.
