Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar set out for ‘serious sightseeing’

Veteran actress-social activist Shabana Azmi has packed her bags for some “serious sightseeing” in Egypt and she will be accompanied by her husband and veteran writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar.

“Javed and I (are) off to Luxor after spending three glorious days in Cairo. It’s the first time we are doing some serious sightseeing. Feel like tourists,” Shabana, 63, tweeted Monday.

The couple is in the Egyptian cities for ‘India by the Nile’ — the largest Indian festival in Egypt.
