Sridevi’s bungalow not insured against fire

Actress Sridevi had a recent scare when her bungalow caught fire on Saturday evening due to a short circuit, which gutted her daughter Jhanvi’s bedroom. The fire resulted in loss of uninsured valuables worth lakhs of rupees, but the good thing was that no one was hurt. The recent news is that the Kapoor’s had not insured their bungalow against fire .

According to sources, Sridevi and Boney whose bungalow was gutted due to fire, are set up at Sun & Sand and her daughters are at Raj Kumar Santoshi’s house being good friends of Santoshi’s daughters.  Sri is in a shock and has yet to come to terms withe loss. Boney has been a tower of strength to her.

It will be a long time for the painting and wiring to be redone in their bungalow so the Kapoor’s are on a lookout for a home till then.

We think that  taking out an insurance policy would have been a good option for them
