Subhash Ghai : Uttarakhand is the most picturesque location for shoot

The scenic locales of Uttarakhand were devastated by the floods and the landslides,causing deaths by the hundreds. But for Bollywood producers like Subhash Ghai and Karan Malhotra, it will be always the most picturesque location for their movies and are very much positive that they will be returning there once again to roll the cameras.

According to sources ,Subahsh Ghai who has shot his new film Kaanchi there said,”A tragedy happened in Uttarakhand and it gives me grief, but the state will always be a lucrative place for producers to shoot because of its undying beauty.I shall always look forward to picturise other locales (in Uttarakhand) in my future projects.”

Director Karan Malhotra too was very positive ,about the viability of the beautiful locations in the state for his movie Shuddhi,and said,”I feel Uttarakhand is one state which is not yet explored fully. I had gone with my team sometime back to explore the beautiful locations there. We finally decided to shoot at Gangotri and Rudraprayag,But now we’ll go there once the state is back in shape.may be after a couple of months.”
That must be good news for the locals of Uttarakhand who must be in dire need ,and if our producers do shoot there it will be a great financial help to the locals.
