Tabu refuses to play Priyanka Chopra’s mom

Actess Tabu known for her acting prowess,  might be seen playing a mom in Zoya Akhtar’s next. She had played a mom to  American Indian actor Kal Penn in the Mira Nair-directed ‘Namesake’. But will she play a mother to Priyanka Chopra?

According to sources , Zoya Akhtar aparently wanted Tabu (42) to play mother to Priyanka Chopra (31) in her next. But Tabu  refused the offer as she was not keen on being portrayed as a mother to PeeCee. And  as a matter of fact, Why should she ,when  she’s reportedly all set to romance Shahid Kapoor in Vikas Bahl’s next.

She was seen playing Salman Khan’s (older) sister in his movie Jai Ho. She’ll soon also be spotted in Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Haider.
