The Archies actor Vedang Raina on Shah Rukh Khan, nepotism debate & doing Jigra with Alia Bhatt

Vedang Raina won hearts with his portrayal of Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, the actor opened up about overwhelming response the movie released. Calling Zoya Akhtar his ‘movie mommy’, he also spoke about his bonding with cast and his takeaway from this debut. He further recalled how he was intimated to sing in front of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The actor also shared how he is in awe of Shah Rukh Khan’s gesture and he was all praise for all newcomers. He also addressed how there was unwarranted criticism owing to casting of the film and how it pressurized Agastya, Suhana, and Khushi. Vedang also revealed if he is a part of Vasan Bala’s Jigra starring Alia Bhatt. In a fun rapid fire, he revealed what he would like to steal from Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sidharth Malhotra.
