Throwback: When Virat Kohli chose Anushka Sharma as his bride in front of SRK

Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma’s love story is soon to culminate into marriage, if reports are to be trusted. From a destination wedding in Italy, to the guest list and the venue, everything is being planned secretly and hush-hush confirmations are being thrown around from different quarters. However, if you were thinking that the couple apparently decided to settle down now after dating for several years, then you’re mistaken. Virat had chosen Anushka as his bride way back in 2014 and that too in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. Traveling back to the seventh season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Abu Dhabi, SRK had picked Anushka as the bride for Virat right onstage. He had called for a swayamvar where Virat was shown pictures of prospective brides and Kohli picked Anushka.
