Trailer: Jimmy Sheirgill’s ‘Shorgul’ seems to be a hard-hitting one!

Jimmy Sheirgill starrer ‘Shorgul‘ is a political drama based on real life incidents. The movie that is set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh brings to light the sensitive issues that have been a blot on our society. Jimmy after his hard-hitting role in ‘Traffic’ as a police commissioner will be seen as a prominent politician who has got a sinister streak in the film that is directed by Jitendra Tiwari and Prashant Singh.

An innocent friendship between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl takes a political turn with each one trying to gain the upper hand. Soon the arena is set for political mind games and master strokes of high profile dignitaries in which the sacrificial lamb is the common man. A minuscule matter soon escalates into an avalanche with murky politicians taking a hit at each other for votes.

Starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Sanjay Suri, Ashutosh Rana, Hiten Tejwani and Eijaz Khan and produced by Swatantra Vijay Singh and Vyas Verma, the film seems to be a hit with the masses. It will release on 24th June 2016.
