Ungli to be released in November

The release date of the long delayed movie ‘Ungli’ is out. The movie will be released on November 21, 2014.

The film is directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner.

The film has been in news for over a year regarding its release date. It was supposed to release last year in September, but was postponed so that Shahid Kapoor starer ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ could have a solo release. It was later decided to release in May 2014, but was again postponed when Sajid Nadiawala requested Karan Johar to do so as ‘Heropanti’ was releasing. The film is now expected to release in November.

‘Ungli’ is Rensil D’Silva’s second directorial venture. His first film was ‘Kurbaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The movie was a flop.

‘Ungli’ has Emraan Hashmi playing the main lead along with Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda and Neha Dhupia.
