Watch – Aamir Khan at ‘Dangal’ press meet in Ludhiana

Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan is at present in Ludhiana shooting for his upcoming biopic ‘Dangal’. The actor has decided to involve the local people to essay the different roles for his upcoming film, that is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat.

Sources said, “It was economically unviable to call for artists from Mumbai for small roles like that of a barber, shopkeeper, farmer, cobbler and other background artists. Aamir Khan has personally told the team to ensure that locals are hired after screen test and given employment. Aamir Khan has shortlisted 65 locals, and he will also be hosting auditions for the wrestlers here.”

The actor even attended a press meet in Ludhiana.
