Watch: Akshay Kumar’s Mexican swimmer fans dance to Aila Re Aila’ at Rio

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently high on the successful stint that his recent release ‘Rustom’ has pulled at box office. Seems like the actor is not only a favourite with the Indians but has a huge fan following among the foreigners too. This was proven at the Rio Olympics when the Mexican synchronised swimming pair Karem Achach and Nuria Diosdado executed balletic underwater moves for Bollywood song ‘Aila Re Aila’. The song is from Akshay Kumar’s 2010 comedy drama ‘Khatta Meetha’ at a Rio Olympics event.

Dressed in a sparkly costume the pair were seen doing some choreographed routines that include lifts and backflips – all without ever touching the bottom of the pool and soared out of the pools with eyes wide open. They easily qualified to the next round.
