Emraan Hashmi is gearing up for the release of his upcoming biopic ‘Azhar’. The movie depicts the controversial life of Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin on celluloid. The serial kisser of Bollywood is playing a character based on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, who was accused of match-fixing in 2000. After the incident, he was banned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for life. The ban was, however, lifted in 2012.
Emraan was spotted with co-star Prachi Desai promoting the biopic at Fever 104 FM Studios. In the course of interaction with the radio station team, he was asked a number of questions regarding match fixing, his onscreen kisses and much more.

A Tony D’Souza directorial Azhar is being produced by Balaji Motion Pictures. The biopic also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on May 13, 2016.
