Watch – Ranveer Singh unveils the ‘Dark Side’ of Bollywood

Much has said about Bollywood’s casting couch, but there has always been a mystery surrounding it’s existence. Some said it is very much prevalent some denied it’s existence. Ranveer Singh known to call a spade a spade recently unveiled the dark side of filmdom. He confessed that he had a first-hand experience about it.

Ranveer Singh said, “Casting couch is a very real thing. I visited a certain gentleman at his home in Andheri and handed him my portfolio. But he kept it aside, and later I got to know what he was interested in. When I said ‘No’, he was heartbroken like a jilted lover.”

Ranveer narrated how he was propositioned by a sleazy casting director who tried to coax him into submission for a role. This shocked Ranveer to the core but the person kept on insisting until he realised that the actor will not submit. He then tried to negotiate with the ‘RamLeela’ actor with these words, ” Okay we won’t do anything. Just let me touch it. If not then, at least, let me see it.”
