WATCH: Shah Rukh Khan’s rare video as a Doordarshan anchor

Shah Rukh Khan started his journey in the world of entertainment from the small screen. Khan who was once considered as an outsider, slowly and steadily with his grit and determination fulfilled his dream of ruling Bollywood one day. It is known to all that Shah Rukh Khan began his career as a TV artist. He worked in serials like ‘Circus’ and ‘Fauji’ that made him the star of small screen. Not many know that the actor even anchored some shows on Doordarshan. Yes, here we bring a video of a young SRK introducing Kumar Sanu in a musical TV show which used to showcase the talent on aspiring singers.

A young SRK dressed in oversized clothes is seen in the video introducing Kumar Sanu. He along with a female artist hosted the musical show. When the latter says let’s call Sanu to the stage, he interjects, “Kya ye wohi Kumar Sanu hai jo Kishore Kumar ke andaaz mei gaatey hai?” The lady then tries to explain how the singer has his unique style of singing as well.
