Watch:TV anchor Mantra spoof’s Deepika Padukone’s ‘My Choice’

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been on the receiving end of flak for her recent video ‘My Choice’. Many have also come up with their version of ‘My Choice’. Now we have a “husband’s version” of his “choices”! The two minute long video featuring comedian Mantra and some others has been titled as ‘My Choice’ – Male version. The video goes on to dissect all the issues raised by Deepika in her version of ‘My Choice’.

The two-minute-long video, titled My Choice – Male version, have a group of men standing up for all that a wife ‘hates’: from farting to bad food habits to just being the nuisance they are. Mantra has flaunted his comic sense in the video.

The video starts with these lines, : “Dear wife, my body, my mind, my soul, my choice. To use green salad and green tea to trap my soul is to believe you can hold the expansion of my belly or capture my food in the palm of your hand. Your ‘rashan’ is caged, let it free. My tummy is not, let it be. To not have exercised at all, my choice. To love your gossips temporarily or to hate them forever, my choice”.

However, unlike the previous male versions, Mantra’s video even appreciates some points of Deepika’s video. When they show Deepika saying, “To have sex before marriage, outside marriage, my choice,” Mantra and others just say, “I like your choice”.
