Zoya Akhtar disappointed with ‘Vicky Donor’

John Abraham produced movie ‘Vicky Donor’,  that had gone on to be one of the  outstanding hits of 2012. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in the leading roles, it was based a new concept of sperm donation, and also tackled infertility problem.  But director Zoya Akhtar was not so impressed by the movie, that  she feels was overrated.

As per sources, the coming episode of Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’,  has filmakers Rohit Shetty and  Zoya Akhtar in it, on the chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, when Karan Johar asked which was the most overrated film in the last two years, Zoya said it was ‘Vicky Donor’. She said, “I don’t want to be mean but I thought ‘Vicky Donor’ was a bit overrated. I heard so much about it, and then I was a bit disappointed (after watching).”

On the worst remake rip-off, Zoya says, “I think people should leave Romeo Juliet alone. We are done with Romeo and Juliet, too many have been. But there are too many bad remakes.” Zoya also considers Saif Ali Khan the sexiest actor in Bollywood who is the most underrated actor too in Bollywood as per her.
