Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Day 2: Himesh Reshammiya’s actioner witnesses a minimal dip on first Saturday

Himesh Reshammiya’s highly anticipated action musical Badass Ravi Kumar released on Friday, February 7 to an impressive opening day collection. In fact, the Day 1 collection of Rs 2.75 crore emerged as his highest opener by leaving behind films like Aap Ka Surroor, The Xposé and Happy Hardy and Heer.

Now, the Day 2 box office collection report of Badass Ravi Kumar are in and here’s how much the Himesh starrer has amassed.

As per reports coming in, Himesh Reshammiya-led Badass Ravi Kumar maintained a steady pace despite witnessing a minimal drop in its collection on the first Saturday. According to the report, the retro musical actioner earned Rs 3 crore on day 2 after amassing an impressive Rs 3.52 crore on the opening day. As of now, the 2-day total collection of the film stands at Rs 6.52 crore net at the Indian box office.

With Rs 6.52 crore in its kitty already, Badass Ravi Kumar has become the fifth highest-grossing film featuring Himesh Reshammiya as its lead). This retro actioner surpassed Radio’s 71 lakh to achieve this feat.

About the film

Directed by Keith Gomes and produced under Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, Badass Ravi Kumar features an ensemble cast led by Himesh Reshammiya as the titular character. The larger-than-life celebration of retro Bollywood storytelling also stars Prabhu Deva as the stylish antagonist Carlos Pedro Panther alongside Kirti Kulhari, Sunny Leone, and debutante Simona.

Giving the film a 3.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble called Badasss Ravi Kumar “an entertaining ride packed with action, powerful dialogues, and vibrant music” in its review. It further read, “Despite a few technical flaws, it offers a nostalgic masala experience that will appeal to Himesh Reshammiya fans and action enthusiasts alike.”
