It’s been over a month since the flick release and looking at the box office collection, we can say that 12th Fail has passed with flying colours at the box office. It has crossed the 50 crores net mark in its 6th week, totaling 50.68 cr net signaling a resounding success for content-driven cinema.

12th Fail, based on a true story, draws from the struggles of the millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam. But at the same time, it goes beyond that one exam and encourages people to not lose heart in the face of failure and to restart. It is inspired by Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, of the same name and traces the journey of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi.

Apart from Vikrant Massey, 12th fail stars Anant V Joshi in the pivotal role. It was released in theatres on 27th October in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
