Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s directorial 12th Fail starring Vikrant Massey can easily be deemed as the sleeper hit of 2023 as it passes with flying colours at the box office. The film was released without much fanfare but still proved to be a commercial success with its impressive content, heartwarming narrative, and fine performances. Despite the fierce competition from the India-South Africa cricket match, the film has managed to secure a remarkable Rs 3.30 crores on Day 10 i.e. Sunday. With this, the film has notched an impressive total of Rs 21.45 crores showcasing its unrelenting success.

The film is a true story based on Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, of the same name. The movie is inspired by millions of true stories of Indian students who attempt the world’s toughest competitive exam, UPSC. It traces the journey of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi.
