83 Box Office: Ranveer Singh starrer sees a major dip on Day 13

Ranveer Singh starrer ’83 hit the screens on December 24. The movie got rave reviews from critics but despite good reviews, it’s box-office collection is not as it was expected. It opened with a slow start. The movie faced a tough competition with Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise and Spider Man: No Way Home. Both the flicks did terrific at the box-office leaving behind Ranveer starrer. On second week of its release, ’83 minted Rs 4.39 crore on Friday, on Saturday it saw a rise collecting Rs 7.73 crore, Sunday also it was steady with Rs 7.31 crore and on Monday it saw a huge dip as it pocketed only Rs 2.01 crore. On Tuesday the collection was Rs 1.52 crore and on Wednesday, the sports drama struggled and managed to earn Rs 1.12 crore which is quite low. So, the total collection stands at Rs 95.92 crore.

Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is the story of Indian cricket’s team historic win in 1983 World Cup. Ranveer played the role of Kapil Dev in the fim. 83 also stars Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, and Chirag Patil, among others.
