Aamir Khan’s sports biopic ‘Dangal’ is not stopping its successful run. Even the two big releases of last week, ‘OK Jaanu’ and ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ could not halt the successful march this movie his having on the box office ground. After breaking almost every box office record, now ‘Dangal’ has achieved yet another feat.
‘Dangal’ has crossed the 100 crore mark in Mumbai, and has become the second Aamir Khan movie ever to do so. With this, the superstar becomes the only actor to have two of movies cross the mark in the city.
The total collection that the movie has achieved in its 26 day run in Mumbai, is Rs 11.35 crore. This is second to ‘PK’ which stands at the top with the total Mumbai earning of Rs 104.21 crore. Let’s see if ‘Dangal’ manages to break this record or not.
‘Dangal’ is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a wrestler who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari in the man’s sport, wherein they brought international laurels to the country. The movie is a blockbuster and is being loved by critics and masses alike.

Apart from Aamir Khan, the movie also stars Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, and Aparshakti Khurrana in pivotal roles.
